The lens in this camera zooms continuously and the focal length in use is shown in the LCD to the nearest millimetre. there are flash ready and focus achieved lamps alongside the viewfinder. The flash pops up from the body of the camera when required; it has a fixed angle i.e. it does not zoom with the lens/viewfinder. The camera has a number of 'modes' including night mode, TV, continuous frames, one frame every 60 seconds, and multiple exposures on the same frame. It also has a socket for a remote control device and a date back. Ricoh also sold a 1.5X tele converter for this camera.
